More From Burano
Most of the days in Italy (September 2007) were picturesque. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. “Simpson’s” clouds were everywhere. The island of Burano’s houses (just outside of Venice) are painted in pastel colors. It is/was a fishing village and the bright colors made it easy for the fisherman to locate their destination out at sea.
